Welcome to the New School Year! 

On behalf of the entire staff at RKS, it is truly my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you as we begin the 2011-12 school year at Rod Kelley Elementary School.  We will make every effort to help your child academically and socially this year.  It is our goal to create an enriching learning environment that engages the student.  Our goal is to not only provide the academic rigor necessary for our continued success, but we also strive to emphasize character education and good citizenship.

I encourage you to become active in our Parent Club activities and support our fundraisers.  These funds provide monies for assemblies, classroom supplies, books, and programs that benefit our children.  Please see our Parent Club Bulletin Boards outside of the front office and near the kinder classrooms.

Finally, if your child needs additional support or if you have a concern please don’t hesitate to contact their teacher.  It is our mission to support your child in whatever way we can.  Remember, “Working together makes a difference in the lives of our students”.  Thank you for your support and cooperation.
